Phoenix Rising!

Time has come today...don't wait for another day! "It is the Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom" - Luke 12:32

Now the debate is where and what is the Kingdom. The what is of little doubt...The Kingdom represents Heaven. Where is Heaven is does create debate. Is it in the sky...is it in the mind...can it be found on earth...must we die first to "enjoy" the fruits of it...and is there a cover charge, 2 drink minimum?

I believe The Kingdom of Heaven is within and if you seek you will find and that the search can and will be completed while you are here on Earth. That way you can share the riches of your joy with the world. So...to that end... I share these riches with you...volume 30 of "Pheno's Lounge"!

Congo Square

Way back in the day...say early 1800's a place called Congo Square in New Orleans, LA was the place to be! On Sunday afternoons the en-slaved peoples of New Orleans were allowed to gather, set up market stalls, trade and sell food and wares but most of all play music and dance, dance, dance!!!

The weekly rituals as you can imagine became the focal point of Black culture in New Orleans - as George Clinton sang on the Funkadelic smash hit a century later..."Here's your chance dance your way out of your constrictions..." In Congo Square we truly came together - once a week as "One Nation Under A Groove".

Now, here in the 2K - we gather once a week at Pheno's Lounge via the internet to groove our way out of life's weekly troubles. Go ahead - enjoy yourself my loved ones - you deserve it and it is my pleasure to serve it.
